Healpful Abbreviations and Money-Saving Terms:

  1. $1/1 = Save $1 Off One Item Per Coupon
  2. $1/2 = Save $1 Off Two Items Per Coupon
  3. B&M = Brick & Mortar Stores
  4. B1G1 or BOGO = Buy One, Get One Free
  5. B2G1 = Buy Two, Get One Free
  6. BOGO 50% = Buy One, Get One 50% Off
  7. CATALINA = Coupons That Print Along With Your Receipt
  8. CRT = Cash Register Tape
  9. DEAD = Offer No Longer Valid
  10. DND = Do Not Double
  11. DNT = Do Not Triple
  12. EXP = Expires One
  13. FILLER = Item Purchased to Reach a Minimum Total in Order to Get a “Deal”
  14. GC = Gift Card
  15. H2S = Hip2Save
  16. HTH = Hope That Helps
  17. IP = Internet Printable
  18. ISO  = In Search Of
  19. IVC = Instant Value Coupon
  20. MC or MQ = Manufacturer’s coupon
  21. MIR = Mail In Rebate
  22. MM = Money-Maker
  23. NED = No Expiration Date
  24. OOP = Out of Pocket
  25. OOS = Out of Stock
  26. OYNO = On Your Next Order
  27. POP = Proof of Purchase
  28. PSA = Price Starting At
  29. STACKING: Using Both a Store Coupon and a Manufacturer’s Coupon on One Item
  30. TMF = Try Me Free Offer
  31. UPC = Universal Product Code – Those black straight lines with numbers under them
  32. WYB = When You Buy
  33. YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary – Deal may work for someone else, but it may not work for you.
